How Our Process for Business & Financial Consulting Works

We give you a team of consultants to do your books, help to raise funds, consult around business processes as well as an intuitive software to monitor your business' success.

It will be everything you need for your business to profit and grow - without having to do it all your self.

Here’s what working with Community Capital looks like

At the beginning of each month

We will gather the financial documents needed to do your bookkeeping and produce accurate financial statements.

Adding Value to Your Business

Connect your accounts to our accounting system, and you won’t even have to think about getting us your bank or credit card statements. We sync directly with all major banks to automatically pull your transactions.

 

We have other simple solutions to help with business funding, payroll and merchant transactions.

During each month

Once we have all the documents we need, we will finalize and complete your books within 15 business days.

We do your weekly accounting

Each week, your ComCap team reconciles your accounts, categorizes your transactions, and produces your financial statements. They will also make any necessary adjustments to your books to ensure that they are tax-compliant.

We Have a Brief Review​

Every 2 weeks, your CFO will review your financial statements against your projected results and discuss ways to expand what's working or improve what's not.  We use an incredible set of consulting principles to ensure our clients Profit & Grow!

We might need your input

 

While we’re working on your books or preparing a financing package, we may need to ask for your help to properly categorize a transaction or send us a document. We'll send you a message requesting guidance.

At the end of each month

Once your books are complete, you’ll get a message from your financial team letting you know that your books are ready for final review.

We find that it’s helpful to review your books against your broader business strategy together

For the first three months, we will review your books with you over the phone, review any financing needs and help to establish an overall strategy review process.

 

These review calls are a great opportunity for you to use us as a sounding board and ask questions about your financial statements. They also help us to familiarize ourselves with your business, and ensure you are getting the most out of your ComCap service.

After this point, we’ll follow your lead and let you decide how often you’d like to connect with us on the phone. Remember, you can book a call with us at any time.
